About This Event

Inspired by Britain's Art in Action festival at Waterperry Gardens and Singapore's Arts in Your Neighborhood by the National Arts Council Singapore, #MeetArts held our very own Art in Action carnival to engage the local Nee Soon community with art experiences. Through Art in Action, we aim to strengthen the sense of community, cultivate interest in pursuing art, and feature emerging artists in Singapore.

Over 9 days of festivities, we showcased 58 artworks from our artists to commemorate the 58th National Day of Singapore. Other highlights include live art demos and art workshops. Admission is free. Registration is required to participate in the art workshops as seats are limited.

This event was featured by Zaobao, with Member of Parliament Ms. Carrie Tan gracing the event as our guest of honour. The event was well-attended by over 1,000 visitors and 16,000 online visitors.
