In February 2021, #MeetArts was one of the winners of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Resilience & Growth Innovation Challenge to create social impact to the arts community.
Since November 2022, #MeetArts is a member of the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE) to contribute to the development of the Social Enterprise sector in the provision of economic tools and services to the community.
On March 8 2023, #MeetArts is featured on a Wall Street Journal Article in collaboration with Alibaba!
In March 23 2023, #MeetArts was featured by Block71 Singapore. Block 71 works together with established businesses and government agencies to incubate startups. Since the program’s commencement in 2011, Block 71 has supported more than 600 startups, including Carousell.
On June 16 2023, #MeetArts' very first art carnival Art in Action was featured by Lianhe Zaobao 联合早报.
On August 2 2023, #MeetArts' CEO and founder Irene Chong was featured by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in her work to bring social impact to the visual arts ecosystem through #MeetArts, with a honourable mention of our very first art exhibition.
On 28th June 2024, #MeetArts hosted our very own Art in Action carnival completely virtual. We featured 59 different pieces in our virtual gallery together with 11 particpating artists. Our Guest of Honour, Mr. Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Social and Family Development, and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, presented a welcome speech to our target audience of over 10,000 visitors in Singapore and the U.S.
On 5th July 20205, #MeetArts presented Beyond the Panels, a virtual reality exhibition featuring 36 digital anime artworks by artists @unower_s and @simplyhalina. This exhibition pushes the boundaries of how art can merge storytelling, technology, and culture. It's part of MeetArts' mission to support diverse creators and connect audiences across Singapore, the U.S, and beyond.

We help meet SDG 1, No Poverty, by providing a platform for artists, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to sell their work. This creates economic opportunities and sustainable income for these artists, helping them rise out of poverty.
SDG5 Gender Equality
We help meet SDG 5, Gender Equality, by supporting and promoting female artists, ensuring they have equal opportunities to showcase and sell their work. We strive to create an inclusive environment that values and recognizes the contributions of women in the art world. By giving female artists a platform and visibility, we contribute to their economic empowerment and challenge gender biases within the industry.

Our platform fosters economic growth by supporting the creative economy and ensuring that artists receive fair compensation for their labor, which contributes to broader economic development and stability.
SDG10 Reduced Inequalities
We help meet SDG 10, Reduced Inequalities, by providing a platform that offers equal opportunities for artists from diverse backgrounds, reducing inequality within and among countries. By promoting artwork from underrepresented and disadvantaged communities, we contribute to a more inclusive art market.
SDG11 Sustainable Cities and Economies
We help meet SDG 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities, by supporting local artists and fostering cultural development within cities. By promoting and selling local artwork, we contribute to the economic vitality and cultural richness of urban areas. Our platform encourages sustainable practices by highlighting eco-friendly art and materials, and by supporting artists who use sustainable methods. This helps create more resilient and vibrant communities, contributing to the overall sustainability of cities.
SDG17 Partnership For The Goals
We help meet SDG Goal 17, Partnership for the Goals, by collaborating with organizations such as Yellow Ribbon and the Singapore Association for Mental Health. These partnerships enable us to support diverse artists, including those facing mental health challenges or reintegrating into society after incarceration. By working together, we amplify our impact and promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth through art.
