Diane was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and has called Singapore home for over three decades. Her fondness is primarily in oil painting and she has enjoyed exploring various art styles and themes. Diane periodically paints with acrylics as it affords a convenience, especially with plein air painting. While seascapes are her evergreen passion, she has enjoyed challenging herself in portraiture, landscapes, still life, animals and abstract. Diane’s paintings take viewers through her creative journey and development of style over the years. This collection of works draws inspiration from her own photographs, known artists as well as those sourced from social media.
