Kelvin Tjong (b. 1998, Indonesia) is a self-taught acrylic painter based in Singapore. Growing up, he was full of love for wildlife and passion for realistic paintings and drawings. More recently, his subject matter mainly revolves around wildlife and portraits. While exploring different subject matters, Kelvin has always maintained a realistic style, attempting to bring the subject matter to life. Knowing that this style wouldn’t fit in the art academy, he decided to pursue other interest after high school.
He is currently working as a research assistant, doing research in physics, and making wildlife paintings in his free time. He is constantly experimenting with new techniques and ideas for his paintings and is very excited to see the course his work takes as it continues to develop.
